FARS
Just thought everyone should be aware -- a Business professor is requiring his students access FARS, which is listed on the website as a locally mounted database. However, it isn't available anywhere but the lovely SunRays. It can be found hanging out with its chum, SciFinder Scholar in the locally mounted applications folder, which can be found in the "world" menu.

From what I've been able to reconstruct, we decided to cancel FARS cd-rom, so the locally mounted version is probably not up to date. We are now pointing users to a free website called Financial Accounting Standards Board. (Katherine W. and John V. determined that this includes the information needed by our users.) The website is available from the Catalog and the A-Z list of databases (listed as Financial Accounting Standards Board), but not from the Browse Subject environment.
