New York Times Morgue

Here's an interesting article from the New York Observer about the New York Times morgue -- the clipping file used by reporters for many years:

The Times Morgue Packs Up and Ships Out, by Michael Calderone

It turns out the NYT staff used to get New Years Day off, so there no paper on January 2.

Also, there's a printout of this FAQ taped to the cd cabinet and hanging behind it that you can pull out and read anytime you need to do this.

Guitar Hero III

Songs for Guitar Hero III released.

This is particularly disheartening for me because Cherub Rock and My Name is Jonas are two songs I absolutely love.
